Understanding Ministry

There are misconception in people’s mind about ministry. One of it is the saying that ”ministry is only for pastors and others in the five-fold. This is a partial and incomplete truth.

Ministry is serving people and meeting needs as instructed by God, supervised by the guidance of the Spirit and in the name of Jesus. Ministry is received in the Lord. This implies that an unbeliever cannot have ministry.

Ministry is not what you like doing but what the Lord has instructed.
